Funding Opportunities Funding world-class research that will help accelerate precision medicine for cancer

Funding Opportunities

The Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network is an exciting program managed by the Terry Fox Research Institute with support from the federal government.  The MOHCCN’s mission is to bring together leading cancer centres across Canada to collaborate on precision medicine to benefit cancer patients and drive innovation.

To allocate its resources, the MOHCCN has international experts evaluate the excellence and the potential for impact of all its research projects.

PROGRAMS FOR FUNDING RESEARCH

Special Initiatives

The MOHCCN funds special initiatives to ensure representativity and equity from coast to coast in our Network. By investing in precision medicine initiatives in areas that are generally underserved, such as rural, remote and Northern regions, we are working to bring life changing research to more Canadians. As the Network continues to grow, we are also funding projects that pilot new techniques and technologies that allow us to look at scientific questions from new perspectives.

FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES CURRENTLY OPEN IN THIS PROGRAM:

MOHCCN Gold Cohort - Regional Consortium Projects

The Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network is made up of five regional consortia that span from coast to coast. These consortia, which are supported by  leadership and staff from member institutions across the country, play a pivotal role in our Network. In addition to contributing to the Network's operations and governance structure, each consortia selects the cohorts that will be contributing data to the MOHCCN Gold Cohort.
